Can I use Veil on my face?
Yes, Veil can be used on both face and body. Those with sensitive or reactive skin are encouraged to spot test along the chin or jawline prior to full facial use, as this oil is rich in active nutrients.
Does Veil protect against sun damage?
Veil is rich in supportive botanicals that help the skin stay resilient against daily environmental stress. It is not an SPF, but works to nourish and support the skin’s natural defenses.
Do I apply before or after lotion?
Veil can be applied with or without lotion. If you choose to layer, we suggest lotion first, oil second. Veil seals in moisture and enhances everything applied before it.
However, if you choose to use SPF, we recommend applying a mineral-based formula as your final step, over Veil, to ensure proper coverage and protection.
How long with Veil remain at it best?
Veil is crafted entirely from stable, oil-based ingredients and thoughtfully preserved with vitamin E, allowing it to remain fresh and effective for approximately 9–12 months from the time of opening.
You may also notice a trace of botanical sediment at the bottom of your bottle overtime. This is completely normal and a reflection of our minimally processed approach.
To extend the life of your bottle, keep Veil in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and ensure the dropper stays clean between uses.
